06/19/2003 Archived Entry: "Thousand Wheel Ride"

Riding a bike is a great way to transport your self, your stuff and have fun! Cycling is not only great for our planet, it's also a fabulous vehicle for getting out there and expressing your opinion. Critical Mass rides on the last Friday of every month. Everyone on wheels is welcome. Bike, rollerblade, skateboard, unicycle, tricycle, wagon, whatever wheels you care to roll. Although, strictly speaking, this is not a nude event, it is rumoured that a naked bike ride will ensue sometime later in the evening. This could be your opportunity to put skin to saddle, moon the Man and do something for our beautiful city and our beautiful planet all at the same time! The organizers are hoping to get a thousand riders rolling along on June 27th so it should be lots of fun.

Critical Mass "Thousand Wheel Ride" June 27th, 5:30pm, At the Vancouver Art Gallery ( north side by the lions and fountain). Critical Mass Web Site.
